His Italian heritage, his love for cooking, and his need to finance his college education led Jared to working in restaurants. With persistence and ambition, he moved up through the ranks honing his skills in a variety of styles of cooking. For 10 years he worked in and around St. Petersburg, Florida, in fast/casual eateries, corporate restaurants, and ultimately upscale dining establishments.
